You can add URL links to any website page you want. Simply copy and paste the link in to the URL section within each button.
You can also link to any Notion pages directly as well and therefore creating an internal Notion navigation menu.
Once you are on the Notion page you want to link to, go to the top right hand corner and then click on the 3 dots menu.
Then select the copy link option.
Now go back into your Indify button widget and paste the link in there.
PRO TIP
If you want the page to open up within your Notion Desktop app rather than in the Notion app on the web browser, all you need to do is simply replace the ‘https’ at the start with ‘notion’ like this:
So it really depends on whether you primarily use the Notion Desktop app or the web browser app.
You can also very easily create a button that automatically opens up the default email application on your pc so that getting in touch with you in a breeze!
All you have to do is in the “Link URL” field, type in the following without the double quotes: “mailto:john@example.com” — NOTE: the ‘mailto’ component is crucial – don’t make a typo
You can also easily create social share icons using this button widget. Here’s a quick tip on how to do that.
Simply copy the Notion page you want to have the ability to share and then go to the following website
https://www.websiteplanet.com/webtools/sharelink/
Now just paste your notion page link in here and click ‘Create Links’
You then be given all the social share links to your page below for FREE.
Now you can copy the URL for any page you want to share into the button URL and you’re good to go!
Let’s try out the twitter link as an example:
Now lets paste the link in the button widget
Next you’ll need to copy the link to the button widget from the bottom of the page
Finally, go over to your notion page and embed the URL
When you click on your button, it should open up twitter automatically with the url link to this notion page so that its ready for you to share
Easy peasy lemon squeezy
This is a fantastic free button widget that you can use to super change your notion setup! I would highly recommend using it.
